High School Football: Vote Now In Our Poll For Lohuds Week 10 Player Of The Week

The players below are the finalists for lohud's Week 11 High School Football Player of the Week. This week's finalists are based on games played Nov. 19-20, including the state regional finals and CHSFL 'AAA' championship games.

Please consider each player's performance and cast your vote on lohud.com for the one you find most noteworthy.

The poll will remain open until 2 p.m. Tuesday. The winner will be announced later that night on our Twitter and Instagram accounts, both @lohudsports.

Last week's winner was Dobbs Ferry's Brian Dann, who is once against a finalist this week.

On a day where the Rams' running game was held more in check than they are accustomed to, the senior went 9 of 10 for 178 yards and a touchdown to spark the offense. Dall and Carmel closed out a 51-7 victory over CBA-Albany in the Class AA regional final.

The junior, who was MVP of the Section 1 final last week, churned out another 290 yards and five touchdowns in Dobbs Ferry's 56-28 victory over O'Neill in the Class C state regional final. He also had an interception that set up another score.

Marcus made a major impact early in Somers' 48-14 win over Burnt Hills in the Class A state regional final. He scored twice, had a long catch-and-run to set up another touchdown, and forced a fumble, all in the first half as the Tuskers built a 28-0 lead.

The Panthers advanced on a last-second field goal, beating Port Jervis 23-22. Picart was busy all game, rushing 22 times for 178 yards and two scores and added 80 receiving yards. His running brought Pleasantville inside the 10 in the final seconds, leading to the winning kick.

In his first championship game, Sheppard was nearly flawless. He went 17 of 22 for 236 yards and threw touchdowns to three different receivers. He also had 10 carries for 75 yards and two scores to fuel a 49-15 victory over Monsignor Farrell in the CHSFL 'AAA' championship game.

The senior had 26 carries for 190 yards and two scores, including a 34-yarder to ice the game in the fourth quarter. He led Rye to a 31-21 comeback victory over Minisink Valley in the Class A state regional final.
